Inserting your nose pin

Things that you will need:

  • eye brow plucking tweezers

  • a mirror

  • Dettol and water solution from here

  1. Unscrew the nose pin

  2. Taking the front part of the nose pin, gentility insert it into the nose piercing from the front

  3. Then taking the back end of the nose pin, hold it with an eyebrow plucking tweezers from the corner and not from the pipe

  4. Peel your nostril out with one hand and use your other hand to align the back part of the nose pin with the front part within your nostril.

  5. Hold the 2 parts straight and screw the front part into the back while still holding the back end of the nose pin steady

  6. Once the tread of the nose pin has been caught, after a few turns, let go of the back end of the nose pin with the tweezers and gently pull the front end outwards

  7. This will then insert the back end of the nose pin into the skin and the front half will then stick out from your nose

  8. Insert your little finger inside your nostril and cushion the back end of the nose pin. Continue to screw the front part of the nose pin until it is flush with your nose skin (do not over tighten the nose pin)

  9. Once you have inserted the nose pin and are happy with its position, then take the cotton wool ball out of the solution and wipe your nostril a few times to ensure hygiene.
